Thanks to copious feedback from readers, many error corrections and pedagogic improvements have been made in each revision to Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. (See Corrections page for Vol. 1, for example.) To avoid the tedium and time consumption of having to incorporate these into your copy of either volume, you may want to consider buying the latest version.
All new copies of each volume now being sold are the latest version (Vol. 1 Sept 2022 revision date; Vol. 2 June 2022) even though you will see a date advertised for each that is for the original publication year (2013 for Vol. 1; 2021 for Vol. 2).
If you buy a new, rather than used, copy of either volume, you will be assured of getting the latest version. You can find the revision date on the reverse side of the title page at the beginning of the book.
Note the following ISBN and revision date summary to be sure you order the correct edition and version, if you buy either, or both, books.

Changes in each revision of each book incorporate many suggestions made by readers of the prior version to help make certain material clearer and the learning process easier. All of the changes to any version of the books included in any subsequent version are available and downloadable from the corrections link on the home page of the website for the books, www.quantumfieldtheory.info.
All equation, page, and section numbers in each new edition or revision have the same numbers in the subsequent revisions, except for one minor exception in Vol. 1 Chap. 7. (See Preface to 2nd Edition for details.)
Thus, readers of one version of the book can communicate readily with readers of another version when referencing particular equations, sections, and/or page numbers.
The problem solutions booklet for Vol. 1 has undergone one revision, but, like the main volumes, if you order a new, not used, booklet, you will get the latest version.
All problem numbers in each revision have the same numbers as the prior version.
